Calendars 

Calendar: Many well-known engravings are used to illustrate the pages of the Wall Calendar from Revolution Wear, which notes a Revolutionary event for each day of the year.

Calendar: For each day of the year at least one event (from any year of the Revolution) is listed in the SAR day-by-day calendar.

Multi-year Calendar: The Connecticut Society SAR has on its site
a month-by-month listing of Revolutionary War events, with a brief description for each has been posted

Maps for the Revolutionary War Era 

The History Department of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point has posted about fifty Revolutionary War maps scanned at high-resolution (as both GIF and EPS files). You may download a file and view it at the magnification that suits your needs.

Global Gazetteer of the American Revolution [John A. Robertson] - has geographic coordinates, maps, and descriptions of hundreds of battles (and many gravesites) of the American Revolution, including battles involving our ally, France, and its ally, Spain.

New Jersey: Rutgers University has posted a number of maps, noting that "Permission is granted solely to view these map images."

Timelines posted by the National Park Service (NPS) include

  • for 1764-1775 (prior to the Declaration of Independence)
  • George Washinton's activities during the Revolution
  • for 1776-1789 (from then until the acceptance of the Constitution).
