Find Your U.S. Patriot A searchable database with over 220,000 records of people with service in the American Revolution. Note: This database does not list all known patriots. If you don't find your ancestor here, look through the resources below, which contain hundreds of thousands of records.

The Genealogy Committee of the Sons of the American Revolution has posted many annotated links to on-line and print genealogical resources for the U.S. going back to 1700. The committee also has a link to an on-line tutorial showing how to locate documents that support your claim to a lineage back to a known patriot ancestor.
